About Me…
As a ceramic artist and art educator, my work is rooted in the quiet magic of the everyday—found in a leaf’s curve, the texture of bark, or the flicker of a bird’s wing. I create hand-built and wheel-thrown pieces that serve as small, functional canvases for storytelling. Each piece is thoughtfully carved and hand-painted, drawing inspiration from the natural world and a touch of the whimsical, inviting the user to pause, reflect, and reconnect.
My designs often feature flora and fauna, playful creatures, and imagined scenes that blend reality with fantasy. Through texture, color, and form, I aim to create pieces that evoke a sense of joy, curiosity, and comfort—objects that aren’t just used, but lived with.
As an art teacher, I am continually inspired by the creative exploration of my students. Teaching informs my practice, reminding me to stay curious and to see the world with fresh eyes. In turn, I hope my work encourages others to find beauty in the small moments and to embrace a sense of wonder.
